Workflow Management Part 2: Workflow Products

This is the second course in a two part series that teaches students how to deal with key vendor workflow products. This course will cover an introduction to workflow products key vendor strategies and GroupWare.

Audience

The audience for this course includes technical managers system administrators system analysts and other network designers. The major relevant duties of the audience include planning IT strategy for businesses optimizing a company's workflow and processes mapping IT requirements to business needs and designing enterprise solutions. Students should have a basic understanding of computer systems and terminology such as databases and e-mail systems. In addition students should have taken the first part of this series (14014).

Minimum Requirements

The CDROM version of this course requires:

  • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
  • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
  • At least 8MB RAM.
  • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
  • At least a double speed CDROM drive.
  • An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
The network version of this course requires:
  • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
  • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
  • At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
  • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
